Update on Lucas

On Friday May 16th, Lucas turn blue in the nursery at Utah Valley Regional Hospital. He spent 10 days in the NICU, during that time he didn't tolerate any of his feedings. He would vomit up green bile, and never had a bowel movement. After several tests, which came back normal, they decided to transfer him up to Primary Children's Hospital in Salt Lake for more testing, we are at day 21 here. This hospital also tried several test, which came back normal. They believe he has chronic intestinal pseudo-obstruction (CIP), the doctor said that was a $5.00 medical term. He is getting all of his nutrition from Total parenteral nutrition (TPN) a IV fluid.
