Soccer Buddies

When Lukie was a baby and so sick I never could have imagined him playing a contact sport like soccer. Mike was Lukie's coach so that could watch Lukie closely.  We try to give Luke opportunities to be "as normal" as possible.  It made me so happy to watch the excitement on his face as he played soccer.  No one looked at Lukie any different and did not know that he had any medical problems.  He does get worn out faster that the other kids on his team, and he is a little slower than other kids his age.  But he tries his best and loves every minute of it.  Another milestone I didn't think we would experience.
