I can't believe my little baby will be turning one this month. I always wanted a baby that would stay little forever. I got what I wished but didn't know what I was getting my self into. Our little Lukie weighs almost 11 pounds and almost 23 1/2 inches. The GI Docs are concered about his growth and have put him on 24 hour TPN with a ton of calories to try to help him gain weight. Even though he is staying little he still gets older. He won't be my little baby forever. Lukie is now a little sitter! He is not great at it yet but I think it is Awesome! Notice his NJ tube is out of his nose! If any nurses are reading this Shhhhhhhhh! It accidently was stuck on his car seat the other day and got pulled out. It was to late to go to the hospital to get it replaced. Since he has beening doing a little better the last few weeks I decided to feed him through his G Tube that night. The G Tube seemed to work just as well. So I haven't told any Docs that he doesn't have his NJ tube. But to tell you the truth Lukie is just a guessing game to the Docs too, so his pediatrican has told me before my instinct is as good as the doctors. If I think he needs his NJ tube again I will get it replaced. And he was admitted to Utah Valley last week for a blood trasfusion. He always seems to be a little low on blood. Things are going okay we are just happy to be home!
Everyone is invited to his birthday celebration Saturday May 16th. If you want more info leave a comment and I would love to email you!
