Puzzled?

Lukie has spent the week with fevers, vomiting, ear infections, and a cough.  Cultures have not grown, but that may be because of the dose of antibiotic given to him for his ear infections.  Doctors were worried that he may have an obstruction or ileus because of the vomiting.  He also had bloody discharge out of his g-tube.  X-rays showed an ileus, but his bowel always acts like it has an ileus.  He also tested positive for para-influenza 3.  The doctors were puzzled and didn't really know what was wrong with Lukie.  We are now home on IV antibiotics:)  Yesterday Lukie continued to have a ton of g-tube out put and fever.  He seems to be feeling better today but I don't want to jinx it because we are leaving for a ICare appointment in Pittsburgh on Tuesday.  Anxious to see what Pittsburgh has to say about my little boss.

The boys made a special gift just for Lukie.

A Smurf doctor!  The boys put a sound box in the Smurf's arm that says "Lukie smile we love you!"

Lukie can always have his Smurf with him so he can remember his boys!  He was a little worried and surprised at first!

He loves his Smurf that he named Wipeout.  He would ask for his Smurf when he was sleepy and missed his boys.

Poor Lukie had a 3 hour nose bleed.  He was throwing up bloody vomit for 2 days after:(
